Most everyone dressed up for a night of Halloween Poker at Ryan and Rebecca's pad. Live PHish was streaming on the AirPlay. We had some Breaking Bad, Harry Caray made his comeback, so did the Vice squad, Crockett and Tubbs. We had Bill and Bob, Da Bears! And I was "Pimpin". We also had a Ryan show up, a couple hunters, a t-rex, Wendy (all work and no play makes Jack a dull boy!) and other miscellaneous characters. Oh yes, poker was played! Candy was given out! Tricker treaters at the door every once in a while. The second hand Brad was out against me, I mean Bob or was it Bill? I have no idea what he had, but i had a 7-5 with a flop of 7-7-9. Brad, Bob, or Bill bet out and I called. Then the turn came and Brad bet, I called. The river came, Brad, Bob, or Bill went all-in and I reluctantly called. I was already pretty much committed and there was a chance that he was bluffing, but he could of had a full-house with a 7 or the flush that hit on the river. But, it was a bluff I guess. I doubled up. Partap was out in a similar situation quickly, I mean Tubbs. The one who was captain at our table for the rest of the night was to my left, Art the hunter. He was hitting good cards all night and taking pots in position with strong bets. I did finish 6 due to two suckouts by other players Sean and Art. I had AQ, Sean raised before me, I called. The flop came Q-10-7, I had top pair and Sean goes all-in. I called, he turns over K-J. I had one of his Aces, so he had three outs, and it fuckin' hit! 94% to 6% and it fuckin' hit! That was about 3000 out of my stack. The blinds were now at 500-1000, I was sitting on about 5000. It was Art in the small blind who called and I checked with 10-6. The flop came with a 10-9-3. Art bet 2000, I went over the top all-in. Art called the extra 4000 with a J-8. A queen came down on the river. Another bad-beat, 92% to 8%. Unbelievable, I was out in 6th. Yvonne in 5th, Anne 4th (I believe), Sean 3rd (I think), Louis 2nd, and Art 1st, barely with an Ace high against Louis on the last hand. One consolation is that I did play cash and I left with more than I bought in for, so that was good. Thanks TK, for going all-in on the last hand. He got rivered, finally it was me doing the rivering!
